Drivers, take note! Major traffic restrictions are coming to Port of Spain as Trinidad and Tobago welcomes the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi.
From 10pm on Wednesday, July 2nd, to 10pm on Friday, July 4th, no parking will be allowed on Dock Road, Post Office Road, and parts of Wrightson Road.
Even tighter measures take effect on Friday from 4am to 2pm, affecting streets like St. Vincent, Abercromby, Knox, and Duke, plus Circular Road and Cipriani Boulevard.
Taxi routes for St. Ann’s and St. James will also be temporarily relocated. Police are empowered to tow any illegally parked vehicles, so we’re urged to plan ahead.
