Day two of the North American, Central American, and Caribbean Track and Field Championships, saw more podium glory for T&T.
Eden Chee Wah sprinted to silver in the Girls Under-18 400 metre final clocking a time of 52.48 seconds, while T&T’s Soleil-Marie Caruth just missed out on third position, placing fourth in 53.61 seconds.
In the field, saw Janae De Gannes capture gold in the women’s under-23 long jump with a leap of 6.58 metres. Joining her on the podium was Gianna Paul who won bronze with a jump of 5.95.
