Trinidad and Tobago’s Men’s Beach Soccer Team delivered an impressive performance to beat the United States 5-3 in an international friendly at US Soccer on the Beach Stadium, Venice Beach.
The victory came as part of a doubleheader that also saw the US women defeat T&T 12-3.
In the men’s clash the United States struck first through Antonio Chavez, but goalkeeper Jabari Gray equalised with a long-range effort.
At 1-1, T&T then seized control in the second period as Omri Baird scored just after the restart, followed by Rondell Paul, who made it 3-1.
Baird later scored a header to grab his second goal, extending the lead to 4-1 before T&T went on to win 5-3.
The result marks a significant step for Trinidad and Tobago as they continue to build their presence on the international beach soccer stage.
