Team Trinidad & Tobago A captured the Central American & Caribbean Tennis Confederation Under-12 Sub-Region 4 girls’ title with a commanding victory at the National Racquet Centre in Tacarigua on Thursday.
Led by Zara Walker, Anaya Roberts and Teijha Wellington, T&T defeated St Kitts & Nevis 2-0 in the final to secure qualification for the next stage of the tournament in Mexico later this year.
Wellington opened with two 6-0 wins before Roberts sealed the championship with a 6-4, 6-3 victory.
