Trinidad and Tobago national, Shurlan Guppy, has been extradited to the United States to face federal charges in Pennsylvania.
Guppy had been under DEA investigation since 2019 and was arrested in Goodwood Park last September.
After a failed appeal, a local court cleared the way for his extradition, which was executed on August 5th by US Marshals and DEA agents.
US and T&T officials say the operation underscores strong cross-border cooperation. The DEA praised the effort as a model of international teamwork to combat transnational crime.
