Under the theme “United is the Way” non governmental organization United Way of Trinidad and Tobago’s annual Day of Caring sees organizations partner with the NGO to show acts of tangible kindness
United Way Trinidad and Tobago’s annual, flagship volunteer initiative unites corporate partners and citizens to improve schools, homes, and communities across the country.
Now in it’s 16th year, Chief Executive Officer of United Way Trinidad and Tobago Gail Sooknarine said the annual Day of Caring projects strive to make a difference in the lives of recipients.
On Saturday, the NGO was joined by employees of CUNA Caribbean Insurance to do freshen up the facilities of another NGO – The Cotton Tree Foundation.
According to representative of CUNA Caribbean Insurance, Wanda Bernard, participating in initiatives likes these are a part of the culture of the organization.
And Director of the Cotton Tree Foundation Marcus Jardine expressed appreciation to all the volunteers that helped freshen up the organization’s St Ann’s facilities for the members and especially the children.
April 26th is the official Day of Caring and United Way Trinidad and Tobago’s initiatives culminate with activities throughout Trinidad and Tobago.
