The Trinidad and Tobago men’s junior cycling sprint team of Danell James, Jelani Nedd and Ryan D’Abreau were officially upgraded from bronze to silver medallists following the 2025 Junior Pan American Games in Paraguay.
The medals were presented at the Trinidad and Tobago Olympic House by TTOC President Diane Henderson after an anti-doping investigation disqualified a rider from former runners-up Colombia’s team.
James, representing Arima Wheelers, praised his teammates for their performance in the final, noting that the medal upgrade was a fitting reward for their hard work and unity.
Ryan D’Abreau, who was also a member the junior sprint trio, urged all athletes to refrain from the temptation of doping.
