TT U-17 Footballers Suffer 6-0 Defeat To Peru In Friendly

It was a losing start for the Trinidad and Tobago Men’s Under-17 footballers, who went down 6-0 in the first of two friendlies against Peru.

The Randolph Boyce-coached outfit struggled against their South American opponents, who had six different goalscorers, at the Peru Federation Training Centre on Wednesday.

The match, which began at 10am in Lima, is part of T&T’s preparation for their Concacaf Under-17 World Cup Qualifiers, set to begin on February 3rd against Barbados at the Hasely Crawford Stadium.

T&T and Peru will meet again in their second friendly on Friday.
