The TT Under-20 Men’s team suffered a narrow defeat in a closed door encounter against the Guyana Senior Men’s Football Team at the Ato Boldon Stadium on Thursday.
It took an Anthony Jeffery 81st minute strike to give the visitors the victory over the Junior Warriors.
Coach Angus Eve’s young charges are preparing for the Olympic and World Cup qualifiers while the Guyanese Senior Men, coached by former T&T head coach Jamal Shabazz, are preparing for CONCACAF Nations League matches and the game would have served as good match practice for both teams.
