The Trinidad and Tobago Football Association took the opportunity at Tuesday’s CONCACAF Nations League match at the Dwight Yorke Stadium to honour five legendary icons of Tobago football whose immense contributions have shaped the sport on the island.
Led by President Kieron Edwards, the TTFA, along with the fans in attendance, celebrated the achievements of individuals who have dedicated their lives to the development of football in Tobago.
On the honour roll were former National Head Coach and a guiding light for generations of players, Bertille St. Clair, former Coach and Administrator Peter Granville, and former Tobago Football Association and St. Clair Coaching School Executive, Meena Dickinson. Rounding of the awardees were George Joseph along with Founder and former Head Coach of the 1976 F.C Phoenix, Terry Williams.
