The Trinidad and Tobago Inter-Island Transportation Company Limited (TTIT) has withdrawn the T&T Spirit from service due to mechanical issues, cancelling all sailings until further notice while the vessel undergoes urgent repairs.
The A.P.T. James also remains out of service, leaving the Buccoo Reef and Galleons Passage to operate revised schedules to maintain inter-island travel.
Revised sailings are as follows for Monday:
- Galleons Passage departs Scarborough at 5pm.
- Buccoo Reef departs Port of Spain at 1:30pm, and Scarborough at 9am and 5:30pm.
On Tuesday:
- The Galleons Passage departs Port of Spain at 3pm.
- Buccoo Reef departs Port of Spain at 9am and Scarborough at 1:30pm.
TTIT said passengers with cancelled tickets will be rebooked on future sailings, subject to availability, and are urged to monitor official updates and arrive early at ports.
