The final round of the Trinidad and Tobago Premier Football League season, set to take place this weekend, has become a lot more interesting, as the league has been allocated an additional spot in the 2025 Caribbean Football Union Club Shield.
The temporary allocation will allow the team finishing in fourth place at the conclusion of the 2024/25 TTPFL season to join the third-placed team in the regional tournament.
However, the Caribbean Football Union noted that the addition is only for this 2025 edition of the tournament, due to one of the participating clubs withdrawing.
Currently, the fourth spot is occupied by San Juan Jabloteh, who have thirty-eight points โ one point behind fifth-placed AC Port of Spain, who are on thirty-seven.
