TTPS: 32 Arrested And 52 Warrants Executed In The Southern Division

Officers of the Southern Division arrested 32 persons and executed 52 warrants during a coordinated police exercise conducted earlier this week.

The operation, which took place between 9am on Tuesday June 2nd, 2026, and 5am on Thursday June 4th, 2026, targeted individuals wanted in connection with a range of offences.

Among those arrested were:

• Three persons wanted for wounding;

• One person wanted for shop-breaking and larceny;

• One person wanted for possession of cocaine;

• One person wanted for driving without a valid Certificate of Insurance and without a valid Driver’s Permit;

• One person wanted for driving under the influence of alcohol;

• One additional person wanted for driving without a valid Certificate of Insurance;

• One person wanted for larceny;

• Two persons held for enquiries; and

• Twenty-five persons in connection with affiliation warrants.

The exercise was spearheaded by Senior Superintendent Simon, Superintendent Bertie, Superintendent Bridgelal, ASP Ramsaran, ASP Pacheco, ASP Ragbir, ASP Chulhan, Inspector Ramsaran and Sergeant Narine.

The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service remains committed to executing outstanding warrants and apprehending persons wanted for criminal offences as part of its ongoing crime reduction and public safety initiatives.
