The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service has promoted eight officers to the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police and six to the rank of Senior Superintendent of Police.
The promotion ceremony was held on Thursday, 12th September 2024, at the Solomon Mc Leod Lecture Theatre, Police Administration Building, Port of Spain.
Commissioner of Police, Erla Harewood-Christopher, congratulated the promoted officers and presented the instruments of appointment to the new Assistant Commissioners and Senior Superintendents. She reminded them of their need to “build an organisation that is competent, agile, effective, and professional.”
The new Assistant Commissioners of Police are as follows:

The newly appointed Senior Superintendents are:

Senior Superintendent Michael Jackman
Senior Superintendent Arlet Groome
Senior Superintendent Brian Ramphal
Senior Superintendent Andrew John
Senior Superintendent Christopher Paponette
The appointments are effective immediately.
Also present to congratulate their colleagues were Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Natasha George, DCP Junior Benjamin, DCP Suzette Martin, President of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service Social Welfare Association Ag. ASP Gideon Dickson, and Public Information Officer Insp Michelle Lewis.
