The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service is clearing the air after a social media video showed what looked like a confrontation between officers.
The TTPS says it was actually a joint, intelligence-driven operation involving the Special Branch and Central Division — and assures public safety was never compromised.
All officers remain on duty, and State of Emergency operations continue as normal.
The TTPS is urging the public and media to verify information through official channels, warning that misinformation during the SOE can trigger unnecessary panic or disrupt ongoing operations.
