Twenty-two primary and secondary schools will compete in the 2026 National Schools’ Panorama Finals at Skinner Park, San Fernando, on Monday, January 19th.
Twelve are primary schools, while ten are secondary schools.
St. Patrick’s Newtown Girls & Boys RC will kick off the primary schools’ category, Morvant Epiphany Anglican will play right after, and San Fernando Boys RC will play in third position. All three are rack bands.
Nine primary schools have once again made it to the finals after doing so in 2025. Also joining them this year are Escalier Anglican, Success Roman Catholic, and Barataria Anglican.
The secondary schools category will see Georgian Knight Steel Orchestra, the lone stationary band, playing in first position, with Presentation College Steel Orchestra playing in second position, and NAPS Combined Steel Orchestra taking the stage third.
