Two men were found dead in separate incidents on Sunday.
In one incident, a 20-year-old labourer, who was a known firearm and robbery offender, was killed in St. Helena.
According to police, around 7:45am, officers responded to reports of a shooting at Mohepath Trace, St. Helena Junction.
Jayden Alexis, also known as “Venom”, was declared dead at the scene. Residents had earlier reported loud explosions at the house.
The shooter is said to have escaped in a white Nissan Tiida.
In the other incident, the body of an East Indian man was found in a bushy area off Harmony Hall.
Police say at around 4:10 pm, a man went to tend to his animals in an empty parcel of land near the NGC Cage Pipeline in Gasparillo, when he discovered the body.
The unidentified man is described as dark in complexion, bald, with a short beard and approximately 5’8” tall. He was wearing a blue jersey, long black trousers and a pair of black, steel-tip boots.
