USNS Comfort – Hospital Navy Ship In Trinidad And Tobago

The USNS Comfort, a United States Navy hospital ship, is docked in Trinidad and Tobago from 5th to 11th August as part of a regional humanitarian mission. Free medical clinics will be held at the National Academy for the Performing Arts (NAPA) from 7th to 9th August, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily.

Anita Sohan, Director of the International Cooperation Desk at the Ministry of Health, and Captain Gedion Teklegiorgis, Senior Defence Official at the U.S. Embassy, Port of Spain, are among the officials supporting this collaborative effort.

Members of the public are encouraged to attend and access the free healthcare services provided.
