WASA has finished temporary road restoration along the Beetham Highway after an emergency repair.
On Sunday, September 7th, a report was received around 1pm about an 8-inch ruptured main and sinkhole on the westbound lane. A crew was immediately dispatched to the complex job, which involved working near T&TEC and NGC underground lines.
Repairs were completed, and the road was temporarily restored by 5am on Monday, with work resuming at 6pm.
Permanent road reinstatement is scheduled for Wednesday, September 10th, and will not disrupt traffic.
