WASA’s Acting CEO Welcomes Ellen Lewis To The WASA Evolution Team

Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA), Jeevan Joseph, is pleased to announce the interim appointment of Ellen Lewis to coordinate the affairs of the Customer Care Division, effective July 7th, 2025. Ms. Lewis returns to WASA, having previously held responsibility for customer service and corporate communication, bringing extensive expertise in strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, crisis management, and customer-centric leadership.

Her cross-sectoral experience spans media, aviation, public utilities, and law enforcement, with her most recent role in the financial sector’s regulatory environment, where she led the stakeholder relations, corporate communication and investor education function of the entity.

She holds an Executive MBA from the Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of London. She has attained certification in Business, International Relations, and Political Economy from the London School of Economics (LSE) and is an AMA Professional Certified Marketer (PCM) in Digital Marketing (Digital Marketing Institute). She also earned credentials in protocol, communication arts and public relations.

Committed to service excellence, Ellen will focus on enhancing customer care delivery and collaboration, ensuring WASA meets the evolving needs and demands by consumers for water.

Mr. Joseph joins the rest of the WASA team in welcoming Ellen Lewis back to the organisation. He looks forward to her contributions in advancing the Authority’s mission of providing an equitable and sustainable water supply to the people of Trinidad and Tobago.
