World-class Junior powerlifting champion Joseph Mc Donald has commended the efforts of the Trinidad and Tobago powerlifting team, who tasted success at the North American Regional Bench Press Championships in Panama.
The team won a total of eight medals, which included two bronze, three silver, and three gold.
Winning gold for T&T were Rondel Hunte, who benched 266 kilogrammes in the 120kg open division; Kezia Hunte, with a 120kg press in the 76kg open; and Deresay Jay Alleyne in the 84kg category, with a lift of 117.5 kilogrammes.
