The North Zone Basketball Commission will officially tip off the 2026 North Zone League this Sunday at the Woodbrook Youth Facility.
This season will see the tournament honour the late Lincoln ‘Cripple’ Griffith. The point guard represented the Trinidad and Tobago national team, along with local clubs Solo Crown United, Pro Rangers and Hornets, across the 1970s and 1990s.
The tournament will consist of a First, Second, and Under-17 Division, along with an Open Female and Over-45 categories.
The action will begin at 2pm with the traditional Walk Past parade of teams, followed by a Second Division clash between the University of Trinidad and Tobago and Trailblazers and First Division meeting as Defence Force take on Morvant Oilbirds.
