The remaining outstanding arrears to be paid to the Public Services Association (PSA) members will be settled in the new year in accordance with the law.
This comes from Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar, who made the statement at a Christmas Toy Drive at her constituency office.
To date, PSA members have received an initial cash payment of their backpay.
Finance Minister Davendranath Tancoo also announced on Friday that backpay and salaries had been paid as promised by the Government.
As it relates to RHA workers, the Prime Minister said that outstanding payments will be addressed in the new year, while stressing that any settlement must be carried out in accordance with the law.
