Cricket West Indies has confirmed a fifteen member Women’s squad for their upcoming away series against Zimbabwe, featuring three One Day Internationals and three T20Is from September 24th.
The West Indies Senior Women’s Cricket team will return to action from September 24th to October 7th when they Zimbabwe in their upcoming away tour, featuring three One Day Internationals and three T20’s
The squad remains largely unchanged following a successful tour of Ireland and a strong showing at the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in England and Wales.
Captain Hayley Matthews will lead the team in the ODI leg but will take personal leave ahead of the T20I series. Veteran Deandra Dottin has also been granted personal leave and will miss the entire tour.
Young all‑rounder Eboni Brathwaite, a standout from the Under‑19 World Cup, has been named as Dottin’s replacement. Meanwhile, Chinelle Henry returns after recovering from injury, replacing Qiana Joseph, who was left out following a dip in form.
The squad will feature 15 players for the ODIs, reducing to 14 for the T20Is once Matthews departs.
