The Port of Spain City Corporation is reminding service providers for Carnival 2026 that approval must be obtained from the Corporation to enter the city.
According to a media release, transporters of food, drinks, toilets, or music must gain approval to enter the capital city. Applications are open from February 4th to February 13th at the Corporation’s Head Office on Knox Street, Port of Spain.
Providers who fail to apply will be in breach of the Public Health Ordinance and the Municipal Corporations Act, which outlines that “Offenders shall be subject to the applicable penalty or penalties where applicable.”
