Trinidad and Tobago’s Senior Men’s Football Team will face Russia in an international friendly on June 9 at the Kaliningrad Stadium, a venue which hosted four matches during the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
A release from TTFA Media indicated that the fixture forms part of the team’s preparations for the upcoming Concacaf Nations League campaign in September and is one of several international friendlies being arranged as Head Coach Derek King continues shaping the national squad.
The release further stated that the match presents another significant test for T&T against experienced opposition and offers the players a valuable opportunity to gain exposure in a demanding international environment.
The encounter will also carry special significance for Spartak Moscow’s Levi García, who has made a name for himself professionally in Russia.
