Trinidad and Tobago Red Force have drawn with the Leeward Islands Hurricanes in Match 8 of the West Indies Championship, after the Hurricanes mounted a gutsy second-innings reply at the Antigua Recreation Ground.
Chasing Trinidad and Tobago’s imposing first-innings total of 522/9, the Hurricanes posted 345 all out in their first innings, then dug deep in their second.
Keacy Carty top-scored with a fighting 147, while Justin Greaves added a crucial 122. Jahmar Hamilton and Rahkeem Cornwall were unbeaten on 50 and 88 respectively as the Hurricanes finished on 467/7 to secure the draw. For Trinidad and Tobago, Anderson Phillip was the pick of the bowlers, taking 4/89 off 21 overs.
