Several persons were taken into custody and are being questioned by Tobago police in relation to the murder of 44-year-old Sean Parisenne.
Parisenne, a craftsman from Argyle, was liming in the alleyway leading to Garden Side Car Park in Scarborough when he was approached by a lone gunman dressed in black. Several shots were fired, striking him in the chest. He died at the scene.
The shooting caused some panic in the car park and nearby View Port Supermarket, causing bystanders to flee the scene.
Relatives believe the shooting was linked to a previous altercation with another man.
However, Senior Superintendent of Police, Tobago Division, Rodhill Kirk, said no motive has been confirmed.
