The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) has provided the following update into investigations surrounding a group of individuals, informally referred to as the “Tall Boots Crew,” believed to be responsible for a series of home invasion incidents, across the Cunupia, Las Lomas, Chaguanas, Freeport, and Longdenville districts, over the past several weeks.
On Saturday 2nd May, 2026, officers executed a coordinated multi-agency operation, which resulted in the decisive disruption of the group’s activities.
The operation involved personnel from the Home Invasion Team (HIT), Central Division Criminal Investigations Department (CID), Central Division Task Force, Guard and Emergency Branch, Canine Unit, and the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF).
As a result of the operation:
Two (2) suspects were arrested, and
Four (4) suspects were fatally wounded in separate violent confrontations with responding officers.
The deceased individuals have been identified as:
-Mikhail Guiseppe, of Waterhole, Cocorite (age pending confirmation),
-Davion Guiseppe, 30, of Lee Trace, North Cunupia,
-Kevin John (further details pending confirmation), and,
-One (1) additional male, whose identity is yet to be established.
Preliminary investigations indicate that this group is linked to approximately twenty-four (24) reported home invasion incidents within the Central Division and surrounding areas.
The TTPS assured the public that investigations are ongoing and remain at a sensitive stage and as a result, further details will be provided when it is operationally appropriate to do so.
