Trinidad and Tobago remain without a win in the 2026 Caribbean Football Union Boys Under-14 Challenge Series.
Following an opening draw against Puerto Rico, T&T were on the receiving end of a 4-1 defeat to Haiti in Tuesday’s match in the Dominican Republic.
T&T went down as early as the fourth minute thanks to a stunning free-kick from the Haitians.
After losing possession, T&T were caught sleeping in the 26th minute, when their defence stopped after appealing for a potential penalty for Haiti. The whistle never came as Haiti’s number seven doubled the lead.
After going 3-0 down, T&T pulled a goal back when Judea Philip scored from the penalty spot in the 36th minute.
There would be no comeback as T&T went on to lose the match 4-1. Stuck on one point, T&T will look to gain their first victory when they face French Guiana on Wednesday at 1:30pm.
