ERHA Acknowledges Concerns About Patient Care At The Sangre Grande Hospital Campus

Minister of Health Dr Lackram Bodoe has stepped in to secure necessary medical supplies following reported shortages of drugs and medical supplies at the Sangre Grande Hospital Campus.

A media release from the Eastern Regional Health Authority noted that Minister Bodoe is actively collaborating with officials of the National Insurance Property Development Company (NIPDEC) to secure the necessary supplies.

The ERHA is assuring the public that adequate dialysis consumables are available to support the continued care and treatment of patients requiring dialysis services.

While supply chain disruptions have affected the availability of certain laboratory consumables, the Authority is working closely with suppliers to maintain sufficient stock levels and ensure the continued delivery of quality patient care.
