The health of residents in the Bangladesh area of Curepe is being jeopardised by the level of garbage being dumped on the roadways.
Solid Waste Management Company (SWMCOL) CEO Kevin Thompson, along with the Chair of the Tunapuna/Piarco Regional Corporation (TPRC), took a tour of the area in hopes of finding solutions to the problem.
The Chair of the TPRC, Kwasi Robinson, is hoping to get the residents involved in making their area spotless and even to help themselves change in the process.
Both the CEO and the TPRC Chair are working toward at making their area of responsibility the cleanest in the country for 2022.
