Aircraft Missing On Flight From St. Vincent To Tobago

Authorities in Trinidad and Tobago and St. Vincent and the Grenadines are investigating the disappearance of a small aircraft that failed to arrive in Tobago on Friday.

The Beechcraft 58P Baron departed Argyle International Airport in St. Vincent bound for ANR Robinson International Airport in Tobago, but communication was reportedly lost during the flight.

Preliminary reports indicate the aircraft was operating under Visual Flight Rules and flying below 4,000 feet when contact was lost.

Flight-tracking data showed the aircraft departed at approximately 11:52 a.m. and was travelling south toward Tobago before its signal suddenly disappeared.

Authorities continue efforts to determine the aircraft’s whereabouts. This is a developing story.
