The Airports Authority of Trinidad and Tobago is advising the public of changes to the domestic passenger process at Piarco International Airport.
The changes are aimed at improving efficiency and aligning with international standards.
From April 24th, domestic passengers will no longer use the ground floor Domestic Departure Lounge.
Instead, all departing travellers will access a unified gate system, with existing international gates reconfigured to serve both domestic and international flights.
The Authority says the change will streamline processing and provide passengers with access to a wider range of retail and dining options across Gates 1 through 14.
A centralised security checkpoint has also been expanded, with additional lanes and upgraded screening equipment to improve flow.
The Authority says the changes are part of ongoing efforts to enhance the passenger experience, in collaboration with key stakeholders including Caribbean Airlines and the Tobago House of Assembly.
