Tobago’s hoteliers and accommodation operators are recording an increase in occupancy for the 2024 Tobago October Carnival period.
On Thursday, the Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Commerce’s Tobago Division held a Press Conference where President of the Tobago Hotel and Tourism Association Alpha Lorde shared data.
Smaller accommodation spaces are also satisfied with their numbers, according to Vice Chairman of the Chamber’s Tobago Division Demi John-Cruickshank.
Car rental companies are also fully booked. Mr. Cruickshank said an additional fleet of vehicles will be arriving in Tobago today, Thursday to meet the demand for rental vehicles for the Carnival weekend.
