The Ministry of Planning and Development has issued a call to all non-government organisations to contribute to a report about the Sustainable Development Goals.
The SDG’s form part of the country’s national strategic development plan for 2030 as well as the United Nation’s global initiative. Assistant Director of the Technical Cooperation Unit at the Ministry Ms Debra Dipchansingh discussed the importance of the SDGs.
Some of the 17 SDGs include good and accessible healthcare, quality education, protection of the environment and affordable energy. All interested NGO’s who have contributed to the sustainable development goals are invited to submit information to the report.
Ms. Dipchansingh said the 17 sustainable goals are a blueprint to achieve a more sustainable future for all.
