Chris Must List Gets Bail

Canadian YouTuber Christopher Arthur Hughes, also known as Chris Must List, has been granted bail in the sum of $100,000 by Master of the High Court, Margaret Sookraj-Goswami.

Hughes was arrested and later charged on May 29th under the Sedition Act, Section 4 (1)(c), which states that a person who publishes, sells, offers for sale, or distributes any seditious publications is guilty of an offence.

Hughes was released under the condition that he stay at the home of his former attorney, Criston J. Williams, and surrender his passport to the court.

He is currently being represented by former Attorney General Senior Counsel Anand Ramlogan, and is expected to reappear on June 6th.
