The COVID-19-related death toll in Trinidad and Tobago, crossed 1,400 on Friday.
The Ministry of Health, in its clinical update, said there were eight additional COVID-related deaths, taking the death toll to 1,405. The persons were five men and three women, seven of whom had pre-existing conditions.
There have also been 218 additional new Positive COVID-19 cases. Those results were from samples taken between September 13th to September 16th.
There are currently 3,986 Active cases. Of the 269 patients in hospital, eight are in the Intensive Care Unit, while 11 are in the High Dependency Unit.
