The decentralisation of mental health care has been one of the main objectives of the Minister of Health, Terrence Deyalsingh.
Speaking at a ceremony at the Trinidad Hilton today, he recognised that the adaptation of new practices when it comes to treating mental health is crucial to decrease stigma and discrimination.
He believes that people should be able to access treatment at their fingertips.
