Nominee for Member of the Police Service Commission, Dr. Vincel Edwards, was withdrawn today by President Paula-Mae Weekes.
In a media release from the Office of the President, the nomination was stood down in order to allow the President the widest consideration in reconstituting the five-member Commission.
This comes after the resignation of all members of the PSC – the latest and final resignation came from the Chairman, Bliss Seepersad, on Thursday.
