Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley announced that from Monday October 11th, Cinemas, Theatres, Casinos, Betting shops, Bars, Restaurants and Gyms will be available to fully vaccinated persons over the age of 12 ONLY.
Employers must ensure that all staff are fully vaccinated to participate in this safe zone initiative. Proof of vaccination will be required.
Safe Zones will be allowed to operate at 50% capacity and the consumption of alcohol on these premises will not be permitted at this time.
The Prime Minister also announced that from Monday 27th September, the Curfew will start at 10PM instead of 9PM.
Additionally, the Ministries of Digital Transformation and Health are currently working together to provide the population with digital vaccination cards. Possible rollout in 4-6 weeks. In the coming days, the Government will provide additional details.
