Former Central Bank Governor Ewart Williams has resigned as Director of the Trinidad and Tobago International Financial Centre.
His resignation took effect on Wednesday.
Chairman of the Centre, Richard Young, said, “Mr. Williams provided valuable insight and assistance to the organisation since taking up his Board appointment on April 27th, 2016.”
Mr. Young further thanked Mr. Williams for his service and commitment to the TT-IFC.
The Centre is a national agency which forms an integral part of Government’s strategy for digitisation within the financial services sector and sustainable development.
