Fintech Grants Awarded

Funding Grants were awarded to the successful Financial Technology companies or FinTechs who participated in the three-day “Caribbean First Fintech Sprint for Financial Inclusion” bootcamp at One FinTech Avenue on Friday.

The bootcamp, which included 13 FinTechs, was organised by the European Union and UNCDF in partnership with the Trinidad and Tobago International Financial Centre. The aim was to develop digital payment solutions to address industry-wide issues affecting citizens’ access to financial services.

Chief Product and Growth Officer at Digicel Financial Services Group, Mian Talha Nasruddin, shared what they were able to contribute.

The Minister of Youth Development and National Service, Foster Cummings, said there are benefits to be reaped by the agriculture sector as well.
