The talent in Gonzales was on display as members of the community, worshipped together at its’ event Praise On The Corner on Friday evening.
The event saw young people come out in support of a good cause.
Residents of Gonzales came out to Praise On The Corner last evening. The event hosted by Gonzales Joint Community Services Centre, saw people express their hopes and prayers for their neighbourhood on a declaration wall, as they fellowship and worshipped together.
Youth officer of the Gonzales Joint Community Services Centre, Lynelle Callendar, shared the reason for the event.
According to it’s chairman, Lyndon Callendar, the event was a collective initiative that will soon be expanded to other communities.
Former dancehall artiste, now gospel singer, Israel Jones, hailed the event as timely, given the ills facing the society.
Through his music and testimony, he hopes to impact youth.
Other vocalists also raised their voice in worship, while musicians praised using their instrument.
