The 110th anniversary of the City of Port of Spain is being commemorated with events taking place throughout the month of May, concluding with a civic reception at City Hall on June 26th.
Mayor Chinua Alleyne emphasised the importance of this 110th milestone as it symbolises the anniversary of the restoration of civic rights to the people of Port of Spain.
He also thanked Superintendent Glen Charles for conceptualising the inaugural Mayor’s Quarterly Inspection Parade, which took place on May 28th at City Hall. This parade marks a significant milestone for the development of the City of Port of Spain, its Council, and the City Police.
