Sprinter Jereem Richards gave an explanation for his fine form when he won the 400 metres at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix in New York.
Richards says going into the race with Deon Lendore’s passing motivating him was reason enough to give it his all in his season opener – a result he is happy with.
