The Joint Trade Union Movement (JTUM) launched its National Awareness Tour against Mandatory Vaccination at the Siparia Market on Monday.
For the launch, the JTUM leadership Council shared information with citizens.
JTUM’s President Ancel Roget said the message they are sharing with the population is, “It’s my body, and it’s my choice” in relation to receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.
The unions are opposed to the Government’s Vaccination Policy for Government workers.
In December, Prime Minister Dr.Keith Rowley said It is the intention of the Government to insist that the Government workplace would require vaccinated workers.Dr. Rowley said workers who didn’t get vaccinated would be furloughed.
