In a bold but well deserved move by Angus Eve, Kevon Woodley has been added to the Trinidad and Tobago Senior Men’s Football Team roster for the 13th and 15th May friendly internationals versus Guyana at the Hasely Crawford Stadium.
The man they call ‘Showtime’ is one of the deadliest marksmen in the local game and has been knocking on the door for some time. At 37 years old, many thought he was knocking in vain but his continued prowess in front of goal has earned him a call up on the big field.
The well-travelled Woodley currently plies his trade where it began at Caledonia AIA but he had profitable stints at Cunupia FC, San Juan Jabloteh, Club Sando and Guyana’s Western Tigers FC to name a few.
Woodley is no stranger to the National colours having represented T&T in futsal and is the country’s leading goal scorer in beach soccer.
