There was action in Pool B of the Momentum Two, Invitational basketball tournament, at the Maloney Indoor Court as Coach KG Elite and the Maloney Pacers advance to the semi-finals.
In game one the Maloney Pacers, who needed a victory to advance, did so when they defeated Coach KG Elite by a heavy scoreline of 85 to 66, thanks to a man of the match performance by the league top performer, Leshaun Alfred with 34 points.
In more Pool B action, it was a tight affair, as Arouca New Age Lions, defeated the Matthew Pierre Academy by a close score of 88 to 80, with assistance from Jacoba Benjanmin, with a high score of 27 points as both teams ended their campaigns.
Moving on to final four action set to take place this Saturday at the Maloney Indoor Court, will be the Maloney Pacers facing off against the Point Fortin Veterans in semifinal one.
Semifinal two, would see New Chapter Academy take on Coach KG Elite.
