Liverpool Part Company With Arne Slot After Two Seasons

Liverpool Football Club has parted ways with head coach Arne Slot after two seasons in charge.

The 47-year-old Dutchman guided the Reds to their 20th league title in his debut campaign but struggled in his second year, finishing fifth in the Premier League with just 60 points, their lowest tally since the 2015–16 season.

Despite still qualifying for next season’s Champions League, Liverpool have already approached recently departed Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola, who is the leading contender to replace Slot.
